What Actually Wins Stickman Duels (It's Not Button Mashing)
Most losses trace back to one of four fixable habits rather than bad luck or a stronger opponent. Worth running through before blaming the controls.
Bait before you commit
Throwing the first punch blind gets punished more often than it lands. A short feint to see how the opponent reacts sets up a cleaner follow-up hit.
Use the environment
Ledges, weapons on the ground, and tight corners aren't just decoration - positioning a stickman near them turns an even fight into an easy one.
Don't chase a falling opponent
Rushing in right after a knockdown often walks straight into a recovery hit. A short pause lets the ragdoll settle before the next move.
Mix light and heavy attacks
Repeating one attack type gets read fast. Alternating keeps an opponent guessing longer than any single strong combo would.
None of this needs a fight-stick or special controller - it works the same on a keyboard, just with a bit more attention to timing.
