Duel: Ragdoll Boxing In-Depth Review and Guide

Fighting Mechanics and Objective

Two stickman boxers, each rendered with genuinely satisfying ragdoll physics, face off across a series of two-round matches where the goal is simple: land enough clean punches to knock your opponent out before they do the same to you. The Super Punch mechanic adds a real layer of tension to that straightforward setup, since holding it in reserve for the right moment can swing an entire round, while wasting it on a poorly timed attempt leaves you without that safety net when you need it most. Facing either an AI opponent or a friend on the same keyboard gives the format a nice bit of flexibility depending on who happens to be around for a match.

Controller & Keyboard Guide

  • Player one moves with A and D, crouches with S, and punches using F.
  • Player one's Super Punch triggers with the G key once it's charged.
  • Player two moves with the left and right arrows and crouches with the down arrow.
  • Player two punches with L and triggers their Super Punch using K.

Pro-Level Advice

Watching an opponent's rhythm for a moment before committing to an attack tends to pay off more than swinging immediately, since a well-timed crouch can dodge an incoming punch and open up a clean counter opportunity right afterward. That back-and-forth rhythm of probing, dodging, and finally landing a decisive Super Punch is really what keeps repeated matches feeling fresh, no matter if you are working through the AI or trading rounds with a friend on the same keyboard.
